Luca Crivello

Palermo, 1992 where he lives and works.

Luca Crivello, painter, lives and works in Bagheria, in the province of Palermo.

After achieving the Scientific maturity, decides to follow up his overwhelming interest in the comparisons of visual art attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo.

In 2015 he won a scholarship of study at the Florence Academy of Fine Art in Florence.

In 2017 he obtains a master’s degree in Contemporary Sacred Art, graduating magna cum lauda, with a thesis on new methodologies of the fresco entitled: “The Fresco – A Romantic Approach”; he also collaborates in some restoration projects.

He began to hold workshops in some institutions including the “De Cosmi “of Palermo on the principles of visual communication.

From 2015 to date he took part in numerous exhibition projects in Italy; in the same year he was selected by the critic Camillo Langone in his “census” on young painters born in the nineties.

His first personal exhibition takes place in Palermo, in the church of San Domenico.

In 2018 his research that has its roots in the romantic concept of Viandante (wanderer) finds an initial fulfillment in the exhibition “Wanderers – 2018” at the young Centennial gallery of Gennaro Petrecca, curated by C. D’Antonino.
