Giorgio Di Fede, was born in Palermo and undertook, at the age of fieen, self-taught studies in the field of photography.
He attended the photo labs of Cappellani, Denaro and Brancato, Masters of photographic art, which had a profound effect on his training and his technical growth.
Since then, Giorgio Di Fede, with a career full of opportunities and trips between Palermo, Milan and Paris, has never stopped.
From 1983 to 1990 he worked in Palermo with the Spatafora footwear empire, creating numerous advertising campaigns for the company’s brands, which are published in the most important fashion magazines (Vogue, Anna, Amica, Moda …).
He undertakes an intense activity not only in the field of advertising photography, but also in the fashion sector.
Moving continuously between Milan and Paris has the opportunity to collaborate with famous designers.
Thanks to these contacts, he has the opportunity to photograph the most beautiful and most important Top Models in the world, from Campbell, Evangelista, to Herzgova and Bruni, creating a “Backstage” exhibition that tells the behind-the-scenes of Milan and Paris fashion shows .
Once back in Sicily he collaborates with the University of Palermo, where he realizes the museum book on behalf of the Radiology Institute, taking care of the photographic part.
