Nicola Pucci

Palermo, 1966.

Nicola Pucci, after obtaining his classical studies, moved to Rome where he attended a four-year course in advertising illustration at the IED.

He spent a short period in Vipiteno designing covers for “PIGNA” notebooks.

Back in Rome he devoted himself full time to painting, regularly attended Bruno Caruso’s studio and wrote a text for his first exhibition in Palermo in 1994.

Since 1995 his work has been exhibited and is part of important public and private collections in Italy, Great Britain, France and the United States.

In 2017 the Municipality of Spoleto selects it for the project

Urban Screens, in which large images of his works will cover windows and facades of buildings of the historic center.

In 2018 he was invited by Enea to the GAM in Palermo to discuss with Claudio Strinati the relationship between art and energy.

In 2019 it is selected to participate in the unpublished route “Contemporary Itinerary ”for the “Treasures Vie”.

The artist currently works with the rvb Arts Gallery in Rome, Andipa Gallery in London and with the Kristin Fine Art in New York.
