Clara Graziolino is an Italian artist specialized in the creation of ceramic sculptures and installations.
After graduating in contemporary history at the University of Turin and graduating from the Institute for Art and Restoration in Florence, she moved to Madrid to deepen her knowledge on ceramic sculpture. At the Escuela de Cerámica de la Moncloa (ECM) she developed her own vision and her personal language in the field of contemporary ceramics.
Her works are unique sculptures hand-made, designed and created with refractory ceramics fired at high temperatures, according to the Japanese tradition.
Each phase of the ceramic process is personally carried out by the artist in her laboratories, paying particular attention to the finishing of the surfaces, which are treated with a characteristic
process of layering of engobes, glazes and patinas. In addition to exhibiting her work in museums and art galleries, Clara has also collaborated with prestigious interior architects in Europe and the United
States, creating custom works for numerous furnishing projects in New York.
