These tunnels intercepted the aquifer and by gravity and a slight slope transported water up on the surface. <\/p>\n\n<p>The oldest tunnels, which are no longer traveled by water, are dug to 8 meters deep from the countryside level and can be visited in the company of Cai caving guides who will provide their own equipment.
